Kairanga Y.F.C.

At the August meeting of the Kairanga Young Farmers’ Club, Mr. N. Wilson presided over a good attendance while several farmers were also present. The chairman reported on the meeting held in Feilding in connection with the holding of a Young Farmers stock show. Three. stewards were elected for the show. The compiling of a radio script was discussed and it was left in the hands of the committee to arrange a suitable 'talk. It was decided to hold a dance towards the end of August. Mr. A. Johnston gave a lecture on “Farming in Great Britain.” Two short talks were given by club members, Mr." T. Zurcher (Breaking in a young dog) and Mr. B. Devine (Pampas grass.)
