Large Batch of Released Prisoners in Russia
TO BE CARED FOR IN CRIMEA Received Friday, 1 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 22. It is officially announced that 2600 British Empire prisoners of war released in the Red Army advance have arrived in Russia and are being sent to a camp in the Crimea where every provision is being made for their comfort until it is possible to make arrangements for their repatriation. The statement added that this is only the first batch of released men and other contingents are expected to follow at intervals. The British Government states that the names of the liberated men will be released as soon as they come to hand.
