Armed Forces Appeals
A further sitting of No. 6a Armed Forces Appeal Board was held in Palmerston North yesterday, decisions being as follows:—E. V. Connolly', fibrous plasterer, adjourned till May and W. F. V. Britton, fibrous plasterer, not to be called up before March 31, both appeals by Martin Bros. E. J. Sieverts, plasterer, appeal by C. Edwards, adjourned till April. F. Lunn, factory- hand, review of leave without pay-, adjourned sine die and M. H. Mercer, general factory hand, not to be called before April 15, both appeals by Hume Pipe Coy. C. F. Calkin, carpenter, not to be called up before April 15. K. L. Borresen, carpenter, appeal by A. D. Waters, adjourned sine die. E. L. Jones, carpenter, application by F. S. Hopkins for indefinite leave without pay, adjourned sine die. G. A. Gill, apprentice plumber, appeal by Murray and Hansen, dismissed. H. W. Sergent, apprentice plumber, application by W. H. Sergent for indefinite leave without pay, granted. R. P. Anderson, builder, appeal by G. A. Anderson, dismissed. T. Reynolds, carpenter, appeal by W. R. Cherrie, adjourned till May. F. R. Page, electrician, adjourned till May. H. M. Dymock, appeal by E. Dymock, adjourned sine die. D. J. Bradley, painter, appeal by A. J. Bradley, adjourned sine die. W. J. Callaghan, terrazzo worker, application for indefinite leave without pay, adjourned till June. 11. J. Trout, plumber, adjourned sine die. I. C. Packer, apprentice plumber, appeal by Beattie and Procter Ltd., dismissed. T. B. Nicholson, plasterer, appeal by H. P. Coleman, adjourned sine die.
