Cheltenham
(From Our Own Correspondent.) On Friday, an enjoyable gift evening and dance was given by residents of i the district in honour of Mr. and Mrs, i VV. Fitzwater. On behalf of those pres--1 eat, Mr. W. G. Booth wished tho ' young couple every happiness an-.l ; asked them to accept the many gifts | that had been brought by their friends. Dancing continued till a late hour. A waltzing competition was won by Mr. and Mrs. K. Bishop. At a well attended meeting held at Cheltenham recently, it was decided to revive the Schools’ Sports Association which has been in recess since 1941. A sports meeting for the combined schools was arranged for March 7, and will be held at Ivimbolton.
