Woodville’s Blacksmith

At a recent meeting the Dannevirke Primary Production Council considered many release cases, dissatisfaction again being expressed because of tiresome delays when the cases had been recommended. One instance was cited. Woodville has been without a blacksmith for a long time and farmers are calling out to get their shoeing work done, and depending on tho council to iyake the arrangements. The release of a man W New Zealand was agreed to, and in tmb end the council had to appeal to the Minister to expedite the case, but even now he will not be re-< leased until June 10, not very satisfactory for the farmery in the .Woodville I area* 1
