Russo-Polish Dispute

Received Tuesday, 9 p.m. NEW YORK, Feb. 22. The Russian ambassador, Mr. Gromyko, conferred with President Roosevelt to-day under circumstances suggesting that he delivered a message from Mr. Stalin, says the New York Times’ Washington correspondent. It is understood in diplomatic circles tliat Mr. Roosevelt sent a message to Mr. Stalin about 10 days ago on the Polish question, coinciding with Mr. Churchill’s message to Mr. Stalin on the same subject.
