Rapid Repair Work at Coalmine
Received Wednesday, 12.20 a.m. MELBOURNE, Feb. 22. Repair work has proceeded so rapidly at Yallourn following the recent serious fires that the restrictions on the use of electricity have now been partially removed. Industries which had been restricted to alternate days may now operate daily. Domestic electricity which has been houred between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. is now restricted only between 10 a.m. and noon and 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. The tram service has been fully restroyed, but the suburban trains are still reduced. It is doubtful whether race trains can be provided on Saturday and the races may again he cancelled.
