Ne Restrictions on Holiday Rail Traffic
(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 4. It is not the Government’s intention to impose restrictions on travelling during the holiday period. Persons wishing to travel by train will not need to obtain permits. Announcing this to-day, the Minister of Railways (Hon. R. Semple) said all would be on the same footing and the railways would just have to carry as many • passengers as they could.
