Feilding A. and P. Association
The committee of the Feilding A. and P. Association met on Friday night to consider arrangements respecting the show which is to be held in February next. A letter was received from the Ministry of Supply regarding the obtaining of petrol . for judges, stewards, and competitors to attend the forthcoming show. It stated that the subject had already been a matter of concern for the authorities, and provision had been made for judges who had no other means of transport to the show. | The question of transporting live stock I could be settled by the local goods transport control committee. Apart from this no special concession could be made. The matter was discussed, anu it was agreed that as most other A. ana P. Associations were in the same position, the Feilding Association could not grumble. Reports were received from the schedule committees regarding the show. There were no major alterations Ito the schedule, although one or two additions have been made. Messrs J. Wood (Bunnythorpe), M. Webber and J. Cross (Makino) and H. E. Townshend (Palmerston North) were received as new members, and the resignation was accepted, with regret, of Mr. R. M. Watson, who is leaving the district. The farm manager (Mr., R. Richardson) reported that the farm was in a good state of repair and the pastures were in excellent condition. Pleasure at this was expressed by various members.
