Hats Off to Christina Crawford!
Christina Crawford, daughter of Mr. W. J. Crawford, of Palmerston North, a pupil in the second form of the intermediate School, has been awarded the first prize of £1 Is in an essay competi tion organised by the S.P.C.A. (Wan ganui branch) for the district covered by the Wanganui Education Board The subject of the essay was "Out Duty to Dumb Animals."
