Pahiatua Magistrate's Court

At a special sitting of. the Magistrate’s Court on Friday morning, Mate Druzianic, contractor, of Napier, appeared before Mr. H. I'. Lawrv, S.M. He faced five churges of using oil fuel not as authorised by the Oil Fuel Emergency Regulations, 1939. Detective J. CL Long, of Palmerston North, prosecuted and outlined tlie charges. Druzianic, for whom Mr. A. M. Onglev appeared, was convicted on four charges, one being dismissed. Fines amounting to £9 and costs totalling £S 9s were imposed.
