Bulgaria in Grip of Gestapo
Received Sunday, 9.35 p.m. NEW YORK, Sept. 5. Bulgaria is in a state of undeclared seige, gripped in the iron control of the Bulgarian secret police and Gestapo which have crushed the anti-Government demonstration following Hie death of King Boris, says the New York Times' Ankara correspondent. According to sources in contact with Sofia, the Germans seized the administrative posts and army and police transport communications through men previously installed in offices. Tlve instantaneous seizure indicated that the Germans anticipated the death of King Boris if, indeed, they did not kill him.
