Kairanga County

A meeting of the Kairanga County o Council was held in Palmerston North 3 yesterday, the chairman, Mr. W. R. Hope croft ppresiding. 3 In his report on the Fitzherbert riding, the engineer, Mr. L. C. The financial statement disclosed a credit balance of £7788 13s Sd. Current year rates paid to date were:—Taonui t £4308 17s 3d, Mangaone £2530 0s 4d, - Fitzherbert £2279 11s lid, total £9IIS 9s 1 6d. At the same time last year payments b were £8582 0s 2d.
