(Prom Our Own Correspondent.) A complimentary dance was tendered to Gnr. C. Elliott by the residents of Cheltenham and district. Mr. W. G. Booth, chairman of the Patriotic Committee, in wishing Gnr. Elliott farewell on behalf of those present, made reference to the award of the V.C. to his brother. The usual presentation was made. Gnr. Elliott was a member of the Cheltenham unit of the Home Guard, and joined a unit mobilised for duties. Other members of the Battery were present, Lieut. Lideli speaking on their behalf.
