Taranaki Bowling Tourney
Out of five teams from the Manawatu Jentre only one, skipped by Moxon of the Palmerston North Club, weathered :he section play in the Taranaki Bowling Centre’s tournament at New Plymouth. Eight 25-end games were played, Moxon winning the minimum six' required to enter the post-section play. The other teams were: Mills (Manawatu), 4 wins; Simpson (Palmerston North) 4 wins; Wen ha in (Feilding) 4 wins; and Marr (Martou) 5 wins.
