St. Andrew’s Men’s Club The opening meeting of tha season was held last night in tit. Andrew ’e Hall when there wa* a good attendance. Mr. J. Murray presided. The main item was a talk by Dr. Duncan Cook who sketched most interestingly the idea# held about food from 400 B.C. up to the present time. Other items were rendered by Messrs. Floyd Tonkins and Martin. Officers for the eoming year jure: President, J. Murray; v»cv- ' president, W. B. Tennant; secretary, W. O. Young; committee, Messrs. Doif, Hwinburne. Clarke, Buka, McLeod, Irwin, Hyde and Yvuag.
