Control of Machine Tools

Per trrtu Association. WELLINGTON, April 20. The Minister of Supply and Mumtiona (Hon. D. G. Sullivan; said to-night that the recently-issued notices regarding the control of machine tools had evidently not been clearly understood. “I desire to make it plain that the order asking for returns applies to everyone,” said Mr. Sullivan. “Any person, even an amateur or craftsman, who has in his possession any machine tool and who has not already furnished parties lars thereof, must furnish a return to the Factory Controller, Wellingtonstating the design, purposes, age and make of the tool in question. It is ot the utmost importance that the Facto ry Controller should be in possession of ajl the relevant facts concerning tho machine tool resources of the Dominion and I would impress upon all owners the urgency of the matter. Retuma should be made immediately.”
