Noel Coward Fined £l6oo
LONDON, Nov. 6.
Noel Coward, the actor-playwright, was fined £I6OO on two charges under tho Finance Regulations of failing to notify the Treasury of his holding of certain dollar shares. He pleaded not guilty. The public prosecutor said that the inquiries into Coward’s American investments began as the result of a pas»sage in his autobiography.
