Vichy Agents Attempt to Secure Bren Gun Plans
Received Wednesday*, 1.10 a.m. NEW YORK, Sept. 2. The New York Herald-Tribune says the activities in America of agents for the Nazi Vichy Government to gain possession of blueprint and plans of the improved Bren gun have been discovered. Although the activities were unsuccessful, they had the effect of blocking the work of quick production of the Bren gun in the United States.
