Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Hoare, of Palmerston North, have received a letter from their son Brian, who is a sergeant-pilot in the K.A.F., to the effect that on arrival in England, he was posted to a Hurricane squadron. Sergeant Pilot lloaTe had an uneventful trip to England and was very pleased to be able to fly the fast and famous Hurricane, which he states has all the power and manoeuvrability for which it is famous. In company with other New Zealand airmen, Sergeant Pilot Hoare visited London for a week-end, having tea at tho New Zealand Forces’ Club, iq the building which was formerly the Fascist headquarters in England.
