Ruhr and Rhineland Targets Bombed
RAIDS BY THE R.A.F. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Aug. 17. It is officially stated that tlie targets attacked by the R.A.F. in Saturday night ’s raids on tho Ruhr and the Rhineland were in the cities of Cologne, Dusseldorf and Duisberg. The objectives w r ere heavily bombed, and many large fires were started. On Sunday night Diiisberg and northwestern centres of Germany were again heavily attacked.
