Tahitians Reach England

LONDON, June 16. A parly of Tahitians, including one officer and 29 navy and air base personnel, for service with General de Gaulle’s forces were among a contingent who arrived recently from New Zealand. Of 139 New Zealanders, nine are members of the R.N.Z.V.R. lent to the Royal Navy —61 for the Fleet Air Arm and the remainder seamen and cooks. The New Zealand High Commissioner, Mr. W. J. Jordan, greeted the contingent.
