Axis Lost 72 Planes Last Week

(British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Alav 25. Over Britain and round the British coasts, the Germans lost 11 planes, of which two were brought down by night, against the R.A.F. ’s four. Over Germany and the occupied territory, the Germans lost six and the R.A.F. ten, of which one was lost by night. In tho Aliddle East, the Axis lost 43 planes in the air and ten on the ground, while the R.A.F. lost 15. One enemy aircraft was destroyed by a merchant ship on Alay 19 and one by his Alajesty’s ships on Alav 18.
