Tho following casualties to members of the 2nd N.Z.E.F. are reported:— Died of Wounds. PRIVATE JOHN RICHARD KIDD; Mrs. W. Kidd, Invercargill, mother. PRIVATE GEORGE HENRY PEACOCK; Mr. E. Peacock, Taihape, brother. Died of Sickness. PRIVATE HOWARD RICHARD ARMSTRONG; Mr. V. Armstrong, Greymouth, father. Died of Injuries PRIVATE FRANK GRIFFITH BRISTED; Mrs. F. G. Bristed, Christchurch, wife.
SERGEANT HERBERT OWEN TUR'NER, R.N.Z.A.F., kiled on air operations; Mrs. B. Turner, Christchurch, mother. PILOT OFFICER RICHARD HOPE CRUSH- R.A.F., previously reported missing, now reclassified as missing believed killed in action; Mr. E. H. Crush, Auckland, father. SERGEANT HANLEY HAMTLL, H.N.Z.A.F., previously reported missing, death now confirmed; Mr. P. Hamill, Masterton* father.
