French Industries Work for Nazis
(British. Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 22. When asked whether, under the Vichy-Nazi agreement, French industrial resources were to be used to make war on their former allies, the Foreign Under-Secretary, Air. Butler, stated that there was no doubt that a number of industrial concerns in unoccupied Franco were working largely for German account and producing goods of military importance for Germany. Air. Butler added that agreements had been concluded in individual industries.
