National Club Bridge Party
Over 60 players assembled in the National Club rooms yesterday for the first of the monthly bridge afternoons. Miss M. Murray was convener, the committee being Mesdames D. Black, K. Clayton, J. Davidson, C. Hayward, N. Ratcliffe, H. Seifert and Miss Deroles. The lounge was tastefully decorated and an enjoyable afternoon was spent. The prizes for the contract and auction were given by Miss M. Murray, Mrs. V. Whibley winning at contract and Mrs. C. Butler at auction. After a delicious afternoon tea had been served play was resumed. The next will be held in June.
