All Purposes Patriotic Appeal
FEILDING TOTAL STEADILY GROWS The Feilding district total for the All Purposes Patriotic Appeal fund is steadily growing and to date stands at just over £SSOO. The latest donations are detailed below:— Previously acknowledged £8505 0 9 Sanson Patriotic Com’tee. (proceeds of dance) ~ 11 17 3 Halcombe stock drive (Doug. McLennan) .... 2 12 8 A.D. (May) 100 Mr. and Mrs. A.C.B 22 0 “Extra Effort” 1 0 0 £8523 12 6 At its meeting on Wednesday evening the Automobile Association (Wanganui) decided to make a donation of £2O to the Feilding and district list for the All Purposes Appeal. Like donations from the association will go to Marton and Taihape and also to Wanganui city.
