Engineering Advisory Committee for Britain

(British Official Wireless.) Received Wednesday, 9.20 p.m. RUGBY, April 29.

Lord Hankcy will be chairman of the Engineering Advisory Committee to bo set up to advise the Government on engineering questions connected with the war effort. The committee includes Lord Falmouth, fSir H. Tizard and seven other members.

The committee will, firstly, consider the resources of the engineering profession to this end and nominate engineers; secondly, suggest improvement in the method; thirdly, advise on new devices and their production; fourthly, examine and test ideas and report to the Government,
