Mrs. W. Whitehouse Farewelled by Y.M.C.A.

Mrs. W. Whitehouse, who for many years has been connected with the Palmerston North Y.M.C.A. and who is shortly removing to Wellington, was the guest of honour last evening at a e-omplimentary tea, arranged by the ladies’ auxiliary. Mr. T. 11. Hodder, president of the association, was in the chair and in presenting Mrs. Whitehouse with a beautiful toilet set, on behalf of the board of directors, ladies’ auxiliary and members, paid tribute to the work that, she had clone and expressed the regret felt that she was leaving Palmerston North. The best wishes of the association were tendered to her.
