In the course of his review of the superintendent ’s annual report (already published), Air. Carthew drew' attention to the small fire loss, amounting to £O. Sporle that some of the supply of 29 instantaneous ’ couplings recently purchased were un- ’ satisfactory. He understood that other 1 brigades had experienced like trouble. * It was agreed to write to the manufacj turers drawing their attention to the j faults.
