ALREADY ONE CLAIM TOR COMPENSATION Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, April 7. The extent of the lighting restrictions in Dunedin were disclosed by the City Council to-night when the chairman of the Electricity Committee, replying to public criticism, pointed out that the blackout had nothing to do with tho council but was carried out under instructions from the Dominion Lighting Controller.

Other councillors expressed the opinion that the city lights might as well be turned out altogether, and one speaker urged that an assurance should be obtained from the Government that the restrictions in their present form were necessary.
