Pahiatua St. Paul’s Busy Bees

SUCCESSFUL SHOP DAY St. Paul’s Busy Bees were very busy on Friday last, when they held a most successful shop day in the premises recently occupied by Air. H. Vibert. Tho total proceeds were over £9, and these will be devoted to Mission Funds of the Presbyterian Church. The winners of the competitions were; Dinner, won by Air. J. 11. Coombcs (length of string 3 yards 4 inches); budgie, Elaino Macklcy (weight of pumpkin lOlbs. 40z.) toilet outfit, Miss Neilson. The success of the effort was due to the keenness of tho bees and all kind friends who supported them so loyally. The bees»wish to thank ono and all who helped in any way to make the shop tho outstanding success it proved to be.
