WOODVILLE RETAINS BYRNE CUP In a match for tho Byrne Cup on Saturday the local rink was successful in defeating a rink from Dannevirko. Teams and scores were as follow: Woodville (holders): Offwood, Vowell, Hawkes, Pickering (s) 18; Eketahuna challengers): Fox, Young, Tyler, Gilbert (s) 17. Gosling Stars. A further game for the Gosling Stars was played at Eketahuna ou Saturday, when Woodville (challengers) defeated Eketahuna. Teams were as follow: —Woodville: Russell, Kettcr, Anslow, Smith (s) 22; Eketahuna: Bradley, Robinson, Bowden, Hooper (s) 18.
