PERSONAL

Yesterday afternoon Mr. E. R. Hodge, architect of the Wanganui Education Board, was met by the Principal (Mr. J. Whibley and staff of tho Intermediate School and presented by the pupils with a framed picture as a token of the children’s appreciation of tho fine building Mr. Hodge had designed for them. Mrs. Hodge was also present. She was presented with a posy by Jocelyn Clark. Judith Curd handed the picture to Mr. Hodge and told him how much the children appreciated their fine new building. Mr. Hodge suitably replied. Afterwards Mr. and Mrs. Hodge were entertained at afternoon tea by the staff.
