(By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 25. As a result of conversations he had with the Ministers and representatives of the primary producers in New Zealand, Mr. H. L. Anthony, Commonwealth assistant-Minister of Finance, said to-day that he had come to the conclusion that the meat restrictions in Australia were far more severe than anything yet applied in New Zealand. “To us it appears inevitable that, with shipping restrictions, measures will have to be taken by both srountries to meet the changing circumstances brought about by the war,” he said.
