Record Employment In New South Wales

SYDNEY, Feb. 25. The New South Wales Premier, Mr. Mair, announced to-day that employment in New South Wales at the end of 1940 reached a record of 907,311, which was 31,845 better than in December, 1939. In January, the number of unemployed was 28,583, the lowest for ten years. The number of unemployed was now only 3 per cent, of the total employed in the State.
