AIRMAN-PILOT I. CHEYNE HONOURED An excellent crowd of KumeroaHopelands residents gathered in the Kumeroa Hall on Friday night last, to honour Airman-Pilot lan Cheyne, who has since left the district. The evening was spent in dancing, and at a suitable stage of the festivities Air. W. J. J. Aliiler made the usual presentation on behalf of the residents of the Airman-Pilot Cheyne suitably replied. A feature of the evening was the tasty supper served by the ladies. The music was provided by Air. Len Spelman, while Mr. Peter Miller ably carried out the duties of M.C.
