Public Meeting. A meeting of considerable importance, having regard to this particular time, will be held in the Parish Hall this afternoon, when Aliss E. At. King, of the Red Cross Y.A.D. Council, will address a public meeting at which the Alayor (Air. R. R. Johnston) will preside. The Red Cross, V.A.D., Sewing Guild and all who are interested in these important activities are expected to attend. Indian Booklets. The honorary secretary of the Woodville Chamber of Commerce acknowledges receipt of ten booklets from the Bureau of Public Information, Government of India, New Delhi. These contain articles on the mineral resources of India, Indian cotton mill industry, jute, glass, raw materials, hides and skins, Indian coffee, sugar industry, lac and paper making. They have been deposited in the Free Library, Ormond Street, Woodville, for public inspection.
