BOMBAY, Jan. 4. It is officially stated that India’s foreign trade in 1939-40 was the largest for three years.' All sterling exports totalled £152,250,000, representing an increase of £30,000,000. Imports totalled £123,750,000 compared with £114,000,000 for the previous year. Tho total visible favourable balance amounted to £59,000,000. t
