POSITION IN WOODVILLE Most centres throughout the Dominion have been experiencing a severe shortage of whisky and gin. However, Woodville and district have not suffered in this way at all, and whereas these liquors are almost unprocurable by the bottle in most of the big centres, patrons in this district have unlimited stocks on which to draw. Tn leading hotels in Wellington it is no longer possible to obtain supplies. Gin appears to be more plentiful than whisky. Draught whisky and gin can still be bought at one store, but no case.
