Greek Honour for London’s Lord Mayor

(British Official Wireless.) Received Thursday, 9.20 p.m. RUGBY, Jan. 1. The Lord Alayor of Loadon has accepted the honour of becoming an honorary citizen of Alegora, Greece—the birthplace of Euclid—bestowed on him as a tribute to his work for the Greek relief fund. The Alayor of Alegora cabled: “Your noble act to aid morally and practically our heroic country, the mother of civilisation, shows you are worthy of the office you possess.”
