U UIHi UIH.C UJln. Cotton anil rayon fabrics made in Lancashire have now reached such standards of perfection, states a London writer, that they can be fashioned into clothes bearing comparison with the most expensive silks and woollens. Many of the Lancashire mills are specialising in rayon production and are making fabrics which are indistinguishable from real silks. Those and various types of cottons were shown recently at a display which it is hoped will be the first of a series of exhibitions of Lancashire samples. At this exhibition, buyers from South Africa and other Dominions buyers attended.
