Blundell, of Wellington, is visiting her sister, Mrs. W: M. Duncan. Mr. D. Codd, of Wellington, has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. A. Dobson. Men to the number of 10i have /signified their intention of joining the Apiti lieme Guard Unit. Mr. A. W. Viles has been chosen as leader by the local committee and Mr. J. R. Elliott is the secretary. The enrolment forms which were hot available at the first meeting have since been circulated to jpin and the committee hopes 'that same will be completed and handed in as soon us possible. Local farmers have taken full advantage of the recent spell of fine weather arid have been busy with late cropping and harvesting. - •
