Pineapple Supply Short
A shipment of Island fruit and produce, probably last before Christmas, has arrived at Auckland. The ship ment included 21,704 cases of bananas, most of which have already been taken by the shops because of a keen demand for green bananas to be sold next week. Thero was a big demand for 2047 loose water melons, the second shipment o* water melons to arrive in Auckland from the Islands, and for 832 cases of pineapples, which are in short supply for Christmas buying. The shipment iucluded 1610 sacks of cocoa beaus ami 311 cases of paw paws.
