Feilding Rainfall
BELOW AVERAGE FOR OCTOBER During October rain fell in Feilding on 12 days for a total of 2.64 inches compared with an average fall for this month of 2.90 inches. The heaviest fall was on October 28, when .68 inches wa3 measured. There were five frosts during the month and some were sharp enough to do damage to tender growth. Bo far this year Feilding has received 26.33 inches of rain and this measurement is short of the average of 35.95 inches for the twelve months. Unless November and December produce a measurement of close on 10 inches, the year will close with a rainfall well short of the average.
