Italians Occupy Road Junction in North
ALBANIA DEFIANT (By Telegraph —Press Assn.—Copyright). (Received 31, 12.45 p.m.) BELGRADE, Oct. 30. The Italians are reported to have occupied Brezpica, at the junction of the roads leading nerthwards to Fiorina and southwards to Castoria. Italian Infantry, after artillery fire lasting throughout the night, advanced under | the protection of aircraft despite strong resistance. A house was damaged when three waves of Italian planes bombed the Corinth Canal to-day. An Italian attempt to mobilise the Albanians has completely failed. | Albanian gendarmes carrying mobilisation orders joined the rebels in three villages in the Korea district, in which all the men ordered to mobilise fled to tlie mountains. The gendarmes accompanied them. Italian officials denied that there had been a revolt in Albania. Three of Greece's small force of bombers broke up Italian reinforcements in the western sector of the northern front to-day.
