Power Board Charges

(To the Editor.) Sir,—The last letter signed by the Feilding representative of the Mana-watu-Oroua Power Board is what might have been expected. He establishes a smokescreen and dodges thj issue. Any member of the Power Board could tell ‘‘Scrutator” the reply to his question, but the member most concerned knows that , to answer it truthfully, he would put himself in an invidious position. So we shall let the matter rest where it is. The identity of letter writers is quite immaterial, all that matters being the truth or otherwise of their writings. —I am, etc., ‘‘RATEPAYER.”
