Historian ran an easy six in 1.165. Tidal Wave and Gladynev moved freely over six covered in 1.17, a time equalled by Maikai and Remarc, who finished together. Banksliaw accounted for six in 1.165. Ho went well over the first halfmile, run in 495. Wilson beat John Dory over seven, the time being 1.31. Pandect ran comfortably alongside Darkfelt over seven in 1.305. Apostrophe held Indignity safely in a ten-furlong gallop run in 2.155. With the flags 45 feet out at Mentone, True Flight ran six furlongs in 1.21$ and looks very fit. Cheery Jack accounted for 12 furlongs in 2.54. Panka took 1.16 for an excellent six-furlong gallop. Pantler covered the same distance in I.lßs. Lucrative ran a mile comfortably in 1.59. At Epsom Dollar Bill beat Session over six in 1.175. Session disappointed. Industry went a comfortable nine in 2.85. On the course proper at Flemington, with the flags 18 feet out, Beaulivre was most impressive over ten furlongs run in 2.1. Ho looks improved since his Cup win. Gilltown ran a smart ten in 2.145. Dashing Cavalier beat Mohican over six in 1.18.
