Summer-time Commences. Official summer-time will begin in New Zealand at 2 a.m. on Sunday when clocks will be advanced half-an-hour. The period of summer-time will continue till the last Sunday in April, 1941. Two-monthly marcels. The Hawke’s Bay Patriotic Council at its meeting recently decided to recommend to the National Council that parcels be sent to the men overseas at intervals of two months. It was agreed that this work was among the most valuable that could be carried on by patriotic organisations.
