Hawke’s Bay Spring Show

GENERAL ENTRIES CLOSE NEXT WEEK Intending exhibitors at the Hawke’s Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Bociety’s forthcoming Spring Show which is to take place on October 23 and 24, are reminded that all entries will close on Wednesday next, October 2. Last year from a stud stock point of view the show was an unqualified success and the committee has every confidence that the coming show will show a considerable increase. A special appeal is made this year for exhibitors to forward their entries before closing date and thereby considerably assist a depleted staff to handle the rush of work. Owners of hunters will be interested to learn, that owing to war conditions, it has been decided that in the classes for qualified hunters, certificates for this or the previous season will be accepted and no doubt this concession will be appreciated.
